Some 28 people attended the club open day on Sunday (11 June). A big thank you to Alan Cuthbert for looking after the barbeque along with Tony Green. Alwyn Cartwright for giving a fly tying demonstration and Glyn Williams for showing the proceeds of his pond dipping. Casting instruction was given by Daniel Williams of the angling trust with 5 fish being caught by beginners. A big thank you to John Evans for looking after one of Mervyns grandchildren (Max) and managing to loose three fish! Max and his twin brother Alfie did manage to catch a fish each thanks I think to Daniel!! Below are some photographs taken on the day. Just a reminder to members that during the school holidays the lake is open to members children to fish by any method.
